Do You Know Any "Star" Designers?

Hey guys,

Do you know any star designers?

I am a little frustrated because all of the designers I have found / worked with seem to be one of the following:

- Unreliable (especially from overseas designers). Will disappear at random and will not respond to emails / skype.

- Great at copying examples and existing sites but are weak at creative graphic design and working creatively from directions.

- A lot of designers don't understand IM related design work. They are used to just laying things out on brochure style sites.

Can anyone recommend any rockstar designers that are reliable, experienced with IM work, do incredible work and are looking to take on consistent work?

..But seriously..

I can create you a design, Free - and if you like it you keep it. If not, you don't!

You lose nothing, but can potentially gain a design for free.

Why would I give yo ua design for free?

Apart from the fact that I could, with your permission, add the design you use to my portfolio. I'd also have the chance to gain an ongoing job. Which would be great.

Hi guys

im using clickcovers.com and they do an amazing job really cant complain. Its taken me ages to find a designer that i am happy with and his turnover time is great and even though they are based in malayasia their english is amazing.

Ive been through most of the designers on the warriors for hire and its been hell.

like you ive had similar probs the worse been them copying the design from someone else and then trying to pass it off as original.

Looking for "star" designers you say? Check out superstarmedia.com These are some local guys where I live and it's a small company (5 or 6 guys), but they create awesome sites and have worked with many celebrities. Graphics are definitely their strong point. They do little projects too so give them a ring and if they're not too busy you might luck out. Good luck!

My friend is an absolutely amazing graphic designer but whenever I try to push him to get more work than his day job provides with online pursuits, he is too burnt out to pursue it. But he could make a killing. Trouble is, he is more interested in photography than designing now. So it's not his true passion but he's amazing.

So, sorry I probably could not get him to do work for you but just another reason why I should try to get him to do it!
