Sorry to hear about that it must have been awful for you.

Ive never been in your situation but i do seem to have had nightmares in the past when it comes to finding outsourcers.

Next time you are looking for work stick with legit companies im using odesk.com at the moment and they do an amazing job for me. You can even see live shots of the work you have done so both teams are happy.

    Kind regards

      Hi SBB,

The money was taken from someone else's account at the same banking institution as mine and since they do not know me and did not authorize for me to receive any money from them the bank wants to recover the money I've stolen.
How did they get you to transfer money from an unknown person's bank account while making you believe that this was a legitimate process?

Didn't he state it just a couple of sentences below?

Sorry to hear of your predicament. I really don't have
any solutions for you except to find some people who
could loan you the $1,000. But you gotta make sure
to work & pay them back!

No. Perhaps you could show me where?

            It's probably desperation/greed that clouded
            his judgment.

            Here's where:

Gas getting into the head is a pretty dangerous
            medical condition, I think.

            To the OP:
On a serious note, this may prove to be an invaluable
lesson to you. Experience is a powerful teacher, if
you will have her. It kinda sucks right now but
hopefully, you'll come out of this a stronger man.

I would second the notion that you should contact a lawyer, surely if you have the email communication (and maybe phone number(s) of the "employer" as well as phone bill that shows that calls were made during the times you say) you could at least somewhat fight all the consequences of the fraud charge. Just seems like too much bad stuff will come from having a fraud charge against you to just let it go and write it off as a mistake.

It does show that the scammers are getting more diverse, I guess that 500 millions from a Nigerian king isn't working as well as it used to.

Please consult with a lawyer about this! Don't just write it off as a stupid mistake. Though of course you would have been better off erring on the side of caution with this company, the crime is theirs, not yours.

Not sure how you could go to jail for fraud as surely the person who had control of the other bank account would have to initiate the transfer?

After being contacted via email by an employer looking for customer service representatives for their ecommerce site
I just want to be sure that I understand this correctly. You received an employment offer by email? Was this a company that you had previously contacted?

    Hey Christan,

Why in the world are you on a public forum confessing to possibly committing fraud? I would be willing to bet any attorney you hire would want to string you up by the thumbs. Since you are from California I hope you know you have the right to remain silent and I would think you should. BTW, I'm not a lawyer and whatever you do don't take anything I write here as legal advice, because it's for information and entertainment purposes only and should not be taken seriously or applied in way that could be construed as using this advice.

I have serious doubts about your story and have a sneaky suspension you may well have an ulterior motive for your post. And I refer to a post you made about the same time last year (http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/27735-bind-not-asking-charity.html)

Just wondering if you might be trying to set up some major sympathy for yourself in an attempt to raise money from the WF during this season of giving. My apologies for being so cynical but your post just didn't ring quite true. If it is true I will be more than glad to make a complete public apology.

Like everyone else said, contact a lawyer. Gotta admit it sounds BS, are you sure the "Bank" really is the bank and not the company who will then hit you up for even more money? Coz if someone else transfered money into your account, it isn't your fault*

*I'm not a lawyer, don't live in your country and that's why you shouldn't take legal advise from an internet forum

Oh and delete your post and ask the people who quoted your post to delete their copying of your post too. Better yet get someone to delete (not just lock) the thread
