Hello,

If you are running a wordpress site, can you add splash pages to the hosting account or do you have to have additional domain names and hosting to do this?

Thanks

Splash pages for what? I mean what's the reason you need it?

If you don't want the usual blog posts listed look... just look around in your admin panel: Settings > Reading > select a "static - existing!!!- page" to be the front* of your install. Does that work for a "splash"?

I guess what I mean is, if I want to having a splash or squeeze page for a product that I am promoting, do I need to create an index.html type file for this? I am just trying to figure out if I would need to set up a different website for each different offering.

I have several different resale rights type of applications and I am not sure if I would have to different hosting accounts for each of these.

    Thanks for your quick response.

Sounds like you are really new to this? You don\'t \'need\' to set up a different website for a squeeze page, but it depends what your purpose is. Since it sounds like you are new, don\'t worry about it -- keep it on the same domain. It will be easier since you are just starting out.

You will need to make subdomain to add that page. Or you will need to know .htacess little bit if you wish not to put this on a subdomain.
