I'm seriously looking for opinions and advice on this one. Ok, my situation is basically this - I keep seeing opportunities on the web in the uk. There are obvious ways to make money out of these opportunities but I don't really have the skills to take full advantage. I could learn the skills and have a go - time consuming and mistakes to be made. Is it possible or practical to team up with an experienced and trusted player to capitalise on these opportunities or is it best to go it alone and maybe outsource the work. I got seriously burned in a business partnership last year so I'm extremely wary about partnerships. What concerns me is giving someone your ideas and they take the opportunity and run. Meanwhile, these opportunities are neglected , but they won't be forever. Your valued opinions please. Thanks, Riddley |

I realize you may not want to divulge anything too specific, but can you tell us what type of opportunities you're talking about?

Personally teaming up with someone is a great idea, if you do not know the person then the best thing to do would be to draw up some contracts so no one can "run away" with ideas and what not. Going in alone can be a long road at times and even the best marketers team up with other marketers and share ideas as it is always good to get someone else's take on things.

hi Laura, Well I was very, very surprised at what I did some brief research on tonight. There was what i expected to be there ,but it was very poor quality and out of date. Wouldnot be hard to do a lot better. To make money its got to be where there is a demand. It is in one of the major areas not some silly obscure niche. |

Riddley -- Talking about ideas with someone else is a risk you will have to take, unless you plan on doing all of the work yourself. The only other alternative really is to do a flowchart, and piecemeal it out to other people (in essense you are a \'manager\'). One thing to note though -- you can tell someone how to make a lot of money, but just because you do, doesn\'t mean they will actually do anything with it.

Hi Affiliate, I used to be a big risk taker -but I only deal in certainties now. I don't trust anyone unless i've known them for 5 years and have a very good appreciation of what kind of person they are with too much money or not enough money. I'm currently thinking it would have to be a legal arrangement as Ashley suggested. I'd rather spend a few hundred quid having something drawn up than be taken for a ride for thousands. Appreciate your input though. |

It is better to work alone when you do not trust someone. These days trust is very difficult to be found.

Joint Ventures are great, but make sure the person you're getting involved with has something of a track record or you're keeping the money in your hands before he gets his share.

It's a good idea to take the time to learn how to make money online by yourself. Outsourcing can be done, but still it's good to learn what you need to do before passing it off to someone else. That way, if things went wrong and the outsourcer came up short or decided to quit, you could do the work until you found someone else you could trust. With a partnership, if you found someone to work with you, they may be expecting you to know at least a little about marketing so that you can contribute to the deal. You also have to think about the possibility of the partnership ending due to a disagreement or the other party decides to go solo. If you don't get out of your comfort zone and learn new things, you could quickly find yourself losing the income stream you have built by the other person doing all of the work. |

I think for a partnership to work, each partner has to seriously bring something of value to the table. Whenever one partner seems to be bringing more to the table than the other/s, it usually always brings up problems.

It's simple follow this way........ 1. Search internet and choose a working method. (If you've a doubt like does this method work or not, ask it in this forum. There are so many expert marketers here who're willing to help you) 2. Find learning resources related to your chosen method (Webs, PDF, Video), read them carefully and improve related knowledge. 3. Search keywords related to your chosen method in few IM forums and get an idea about associated problems, and discuss own excising matters too. 4. Establish your business. 5. (Strongly recommended) stick into the process and continue hard working until it gives you the success................ Good Luck, |
