Hey guys, The question is simple really, how does one know when they stumble across a goldmine type keyword? I mean I have come up with tons of keywords but I am still not sure if I am able to compete. Is there any set of standard criteria for choosing the right keywords? |

Yes there is indeed such criteria. The criteria should be Search Volume <---> Competing Pages Using a KW research tool like Market Samurai, i usually fire it up and enter some general keyword, say "acne". Then i filter simply so it displays only KWs with 100> searches/day...and < 300.000 competing sites mentioned in Google's index for this search term. Those values can be tweaked...eg. you can go for more search volume, even less competing sites, like < 100.000. In theory, such KWs have high search volume and pretty good chance to rank. |
