Best Wordpress Template to Create a Simple Website?

Warriors,

I'm wanting to setup a website with affiliate products and content. I want to use Wordpress as the platform.

I want to keep this simple.

I'm looking for a Wordpress theme that is clean and appealing where I can simply input a nice header, it will have easy navigation, and most of all, it won't put dates on the posts or pages so it will look like a regular website. I don't want it to look like a blog.

I want to find a good theme I can use over and over again on multiple niche sites.

Thoughts? What do you recommend or use?

    Hi Dayne,

I use Flexsqueeze and I must say that it looks great and you have many options to customize. Making it look like a website is easy. They also have a great forum to get all the help you need.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Mike

I use the Atahulapa theme, it is amazingly customizable. I use it for all my websites, you can click on a link in my signature to see it.

It can get a little overwhelming. There is a WSO for a manual on how to get the most out of it. If you search for it you should find it.

To not have the date appear you need to adjust the Permalinks in the settings tab of the WP admin panel. It doesn't matter what theme.

    Good Luck,

I've been using ThemeHybrid. It's a nice flexible wp framework and is free. I guess, initially, it isn't as user-friendly as some of the wp themes out there, but it has a great array of functionality. Support is tops too ($25 a year, and well worth it)

I run a wordpress theme site, the link is in my sig. If its minimalistic that you are after, I am pretty sure that we have a few in there. All free as well, that is if you really dont want to have to pay for anything and everything.
