Looking to see if SMS marketing is wanted or not

This is a poll really. I would like to know if you could send out SMS message to your list, would you. Or do you already? Do you even collect cell numbers on your list to market other products? Do you do offline SMS for yourself or your customers.

If you like this type of marketing or you think it is junk. Please post your opinion on it.

I am working on a product but, am second guessing the investment. If my fellow WARRIORS think it is a good way, I will go with it. If they think iti s junk, I will scrap it.... Do not hold back, I am a big boy and can take the hits in either direction. THANKS!!!!

There are a lot of great platforms already on the market. I think its a hot industry and will only get bigger. You may save your self a lot of time going with a company like dktext.com or adking

Just a thought but why recreate something that you can just utilized and make money.

I love DKText, the only problem is they can't release the phone numbers, but aside from that its a wonderful system.

With the inability to release numbers, what happens if you choose to migrate to a better performing white label platform down the line.

It seems like you're really stuck on that platform moving forward.

Personally, I find spam text messages VERY annoying. I won't buy anything that's offered to me via an unsolicited SMS, and wouldn't inflict it on other people for the same reason. If someone opted in to my list and gave me permission to contact them that way I might think about it, otherwise I would avoid this method completely.

I don't think you will get a great response from fellow Warriors considering this is basically a thread to presell people on your upcoming product. Many have done this same thing before. You create a thread on the topic of your product, thread gets popular, you then come back and stick your WSO in your signature once it's done and away you go.

If you are unsure as to how popular SMS marketing is then maybe you shouldn't be teaching it? Take a read around the forum, there are plenty of threads already on SMS marketing to know that there are already a lot of people doing it and a lot of people interested in doing it. There are also WSO's already on this very topic.
