Can a website template go on a wordpress site

I have a website template that I would like to upload to a wordpress site.

How would I do that? Can I do that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, you can not do it.
It has to be "converted" into a WordPress theme.

Options:
1. if familiar with code and the WP theme system - do it yourself
2. Find an online service that would do it (one of them was mentioned even today earlier in a thread)
3. Outsource to a pro who can do it
