All you've got is $114, what will you do?

Hey guys, Sean here.

I've got a decent plan ahead for myself, but I'd like to hear what you guys would do with $114 to help yourself out.

Looking for some ideas to give myself a little extra kickstart.

SO!

I have posed my question, what would you use that $114 for?

You don't even have to use it all.
#$114

I'd say the old '' Find a niche and build a website'' would work.

    1. Find a niche you would like to promote and that is somewhat popular.
    2. Buy a good domain ( 1 to 8$)
    3.Buy hosting ( about 7$ per month)
    4. Find products to promote . ( I'd stay away from adsense . It's just not worth it in my opinion.)
    5. Write 10 articles: 3 about your niche , 3 about the products you want to promote and 4 more of anything you want. ( 40 to 70 $ depending on the writer you hire.)
    6. Buy a linkwheel. ( 30ish dollars)
    7. Buy social bookmarking. ( 8$ per url approximately)
    8. You could always submit to article websites and then SB your articles.

    Hope this helps.

      Hello,

I am currently doing this but I was just wondering why you think the adsense is not worth it?

Many people have suggested on here that making an Adsense page can be very valuable even if it earns you $1 to $5 a day. Anything above that is pretty good.

If you have proof that you are making this money, and your site has organic consistent traffic from the search engines then you can sell your site up to 15x more what you make monthly.

      For example, if you make $1 a day, that is $30 a month. $30 x 15 = $450

For some of us that is worth it.
Especially when your site makes more than a buck.

In my case , I was running a few websites . I was making about 2 to 3$ per day with Adsense .

I wanted to test things out a little and found a CPA that was extremely relevant to my sites.

Needless to say that my revenue doubled and that I was VERY happy.

That's why I say it's not worth it in my opinion.

You could make much more with other programs than Adsense.

        My 2 cents.

Don't listen to the above guy, $114 is fine.

Buy hosting, domain name, auto responder. Buy a PLR product and spice it up. Higher a designer.

Then send traffic to your squeeze page through any of the following:

    PPC
    PPV
    BUM
    SEO

Or any other types of marketing you want.

    There you go.

  • I wish more people would stay away from adsense too. Stupid checks all they do is cover the mortgage, the food, the insurance, the business, the vacations... and then what am I supposed to do with the left over just save it? How un american. Because of Adsense I'm stuck just depositing the affiliate checks. Stay away. Bad bad program.

$114 could buy you lunch for about 2 weeks. Take that time to get away and work on your business plan, hang out with friends, and enjoy life.

I didn'T say Adsense is worthless . Just that I think most people can make more with other programs.

I Would spend about $50 on books ( motivational books - failing forward - John Maxwell, Success Is A Journey - Brian Tracy, Tough Times Never Last Tough People Do - Robert Schuller, It takes A Minute To Change Your Life - Wille Jolley - just some recommendation )

After reading one or two books I will do the following...

Do some market and keyword researches - cost $0
Buy a domain name and set up a wordpress blog ( get someone to host u free - will and can do it for you if necessary ) - cost $9
Set up an account with 10 web 2.0 sites and 5 article directories - cost $0
Choose a product ( note I said " a product" not two products ) to promote -cost $0
write a product review ( unbaised product review)
write or have someone to write 10 articles for me -cost $40 ( have good writer for that amount if you interested )
Submit the articles to my blog
submit the spunned copies ( 30% uniqueness) to the ezinearticles.com
resubmit the articles to other articles directories with a link back to the original article on eza and a link back to the product review page on blog. Cost - $0
Bookmark all the urls ( both eza and blog ) to 20 social sites each - $0

After 3 weeks, sell the site for between $500 and $800 ( assumming you were able to make between $100 and $200 in affiliate sales ) and then repeat and rinse on a longer term.

    contact me if help needed.

    Thanks for the ideas guys!

And yes, HomeComputerGames, its not a lot, but its what I have to play with right now.

Slin, i had totally forgot about Auto Responders, and I looked, and my hosting already provides one, so I'm gold on that.

$10 a month, 9999GB Disk Space, Unmetered Bandwidth, Unlimited Domains with the hosting plan I have, along with unlimited MySQL databases and unlimited emails with auto-responders. Surpass Hosting my friends.

Yommy, that is a plan I hdan't really tried yet. Although I have wanted to try a blog/site flip before. Totally sounds like its worth it.

InternetMarketingIQ, Never had the intention of using the entire amount of my meager playmoney. Just getting ideas of how I could better use it than stuffing my face with overpriced fast food.

And Havoc, you're right in the sense that I need to get my ass back into CPA. Haha. I'm with Neverblue, but I've never used it. That makes me blue. We'll have to see if I still have my account and get into that as well.

Keep them comin' folks! You're not only helping me, you're helping those who really don't have any idea of what to do, or a place to start, and may not have more than the $114 I mentioned earlier.

Most hosting that I have seen that says they have an "auto-responder" is typically a onetime reply feature for emails. Kind of like an "out of office" vacation reply. Those can work, but they aren't really a list building, database driven autoresponder like Aweber or Getresponse.

Not sure in your case, but just wanted to make sure you know the difference. Building a list is a good long term investment to go hand in hand with the above mentioned plans.

    Sean,

a while ago I was thinking to create a new blog about web design & development, with a good plan in mind for articles and resources, and SEO too. I wanted to get a domain name and register for a new hosting. So I checked my debit card for the internet and saw that I have no credits in it, and will wait to go to the bank to recharge it. I don't have money in my paypal account either.

So.. for $114, If I did not have any ideas in mind on what to do with them... I would make the world a better place by helping others. For instance, I would simply send the amount to another warrior who does know what to do

Let me know if you need my paypal id LOL... Just kidding
