Which Type Of Pre-Sell Works Better For You Guys?

Hey guys, I'm wondering which type of presell has worked better for you guys. I've used both for pushing products as an affiliate and am having trouble deciding which method works better. It's hard to tell because the the sales page for each of the products are quite different and there are probably millions of other factors to consider.

However, I'm wondering which method has worked better for YOU guys when doing product reviews?

1. Personal "Success" Story Review
or
2. Unbiased Informational Review

    Why dont you just do both and have twice the amount of oppertunity of getting a sale ?

    As a bonus, for me personally, I don't care about a review (if its a paid product), depending on the market your in, I like to think, whats a smaller niche then my original but works within or directly beside my niche and offer that. Little example, SEO product, freebie = backlink building. Hope it helps.

    I've got what might be a dumb question with regards to pre-selling...

    I understand the point of it and all, but if I'm going to be affiliate marketing something, I'm going to make sure that I'm pushing a product that already sells well and has a high conversion.

    Now given that I'm still not an ultra-experienced marketer, it's reasonable for me to assume that whoever is selling the product is ultimately (at least right now anyway) a better seller / salesman than I am. So, why not just leave the selling to them, and consider myself more of just a middleman that drives traffic his way?

    Now, I understand driving traffic to a page of some sort for email capture purposes, but if I'm trying to affiliate sell the #1 best selling diet ebook on clickbank, isn't it kinda egotistical of me to think that he needs me to pre-sell his stuff?

      Think of it this way, when you go to a book store, you can hold the book in your hands, feel the weight, look at the pages and so on...

      When you're buying on the internet, you have to trust that whatever is on the salespage is true...

      When you're preselling, you are NOT selling. You are telling your visitor that the product works, in a friendly tone...

      Just like when you call your buddy up and tell him about that cool gadget you've just got or that movie you saw the other day... You really don't care if he go and get the same gadget or if he's going to the movies, you're just telling

        Are you saying that you use a bonus as an incentive to buy from your affiliate link? Or are you saying that you use a related freebie to get them on some e-mail campaign?

        Yeah I've actually had better results with that one but they were for different products, so I can't be sure.
