Default Would this be a wise move?

I am interested in getting into the niche dating business but am not too sure about it. Lets just say, I’m not really some club hopping playboy or a charismatic nightclub owner. I’m the kind of guy who finds one woman and if he feels she’s the right woman he remains with her. So that said would it be a wise move for me to get into this niche being as how I have a somewhat serious, business minded personality?

Why not cater to the part of the niche where people are looking for relationships rather than one-night stands?

There's nothing wrong with providing a service that would benefit people. Just because you are not "in the market", shouldn't deter your business decision. Many people promote or sell products or services they themselves would have no use for.

hmmm, since you're having doubts, i think it would be best to find something that you would enjoy promoting. because if you go forth with that niche, and it's bothering your conscious, you're not going to promote it wholeheartedly, and therefore, you'll make very little money if any.

as option mentioned, there are so many niches out there closer to what you enjoy, doing. just do your proper research and make sure, that there is not only enough searches, but people are buying in that niche, as well.

looks like it might be back to the drawing board for you.

just don't get discouraged, you can do this!

much success to you

There are so many different sub niches inside the dating niche that I am pretty sure if you dig a little deeper you will find something that you are comfortable with and not embarrassed to tell others about what you do. Try to do a little more research before you throw in the towel.

I own two pick up / dating advice websites and I can tell you from my perspective that it kind of ruins it a bit with the ladies. I mean, you don't want to lie when they ask you what you do, so you say you own websites. Then they ask "oh, what kind?" and once you say the truth it feels a little weird and you don't know what she thinks about the subject.
I try not to mention it and when I do I try to minimize the damage and it just feels bad.

Also it's not a strong niche and there's TONS of competition.

I enjoy the subject so I don't mind.

Good luck!
