For those doing memberships sites, what software do you use? (eg amember etc) And on what platform do you use it on? (eg Wordpress, etc ) |

I use aMember and have been very happy with it. I use it to manage a static website and private forum. Also, for the few times I've needed it, there tech support is very good.

There's another thread currently on this topic that will give you many helpful details on membership scripts: Membership/Affiliate Software/Script Scripts offer a lot of flexibility but are more techie than I like to deal with, so I prefer hosted solutions. I run my online marketing coaching membership site on Ning (link in my .sig file). It's not perfect but as a hosted solution with 100+ engineers and zillion dollars of VC money behind it, it's getting better all the time. And, more importantly, it frees me to focus on building a valuable community for my members instead of tweaking the code constantly. Hope that helps. |
