And it only took like 6 months

PPC I lost my shirt on too many times. Now I do BUM marketing and I'm investigating CPA networks now.

The products I sold were an affiliate marketing course and a save my marriage course (both as an affiliate).

The affiliate marketing course I sold from a Squidoo page and I sold 3 courses of the save my marriage product with a PPC campaign...then it stopped.

Back to the drawing board.

Btw, I sold a lot of the Save The Marriage book (the one by Lee Baucom?) years ago...wow, I just looked at his sales page - it was NOTHING like that when I was promoting it, but it still converted really well.

Did you track your conversions at the keyword level? If you did, you might run the keywords through something like Market Samurai and see if you can sell via SEO.

Good job on the sales. Now that you have success, start looking for new networks. Look into CPA. Clickbank will only get you so far...before they start stealing your commissions...I'm just sayin.

hey good stuff... any idea on what your "hourly" pay was for that? ($154/# of hours spent with marketing)

Hey Justin...hourly rate. Hmmm. 4 hours a day for 5 days a week = 20 hours. Times 4 weeks a month = 80 hours a month. Multiply that by 6 months= 480 hours.

That equals about 33 cents an hour.

I could have earned more money in prison.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

I still work a full time job, a part time job and spend around 20 hours a week doing online marketing/studying.

Dammit, I'll be rich one day!

PPC can be great but I only recommend it if you have money set aside for testing.

Your case is pretty typical. Work a lot, work hard, and months later get a check. Just shows that everyone is not getting rich from Clickbank. But some are so the masses keep trying. I do okay with Clickbank. But there is a whole world of affiliate opportunity promoting products... not digital, but the kind people buy and use every day in their lives.
