How to find key phrases on-a-fly while re-writing?

I always spend more time then I wish while optimizing existing articles. In particularly I'm having hard time spotting a super low competition phrase that article has or can be tweaked to have.

Any tools or tips you guys can share?

I have a tip for you-

Try posting this in the main forum.
You may get some takers there.

This forum is for copywriting, not
    content/article writing, so this
thread will likely be deleted or
    moved.

    Hope that helps

I love to use WordFlood for rewriting my PLR article. Just point your mouse to any word and it will dropdown a list of synonym to choose from. Just click on your prefer synonym and it will change automatically.

Thanks! It's not what I was asking about but I need something like this anyways. Found a free version of WordFlood online.
Now, if someone can help me find key-phrases used in searches on a fly

Take whatever keywords you were using and go to Google Adwords Keyword Tool and put the phrase in there.

You will see a list of related longtail keywords and phrases.

Pick a low competition phrase from the list.

Go to Google Search. Put the phrase in search and see if any of the front page listings are articles from any of the directories like EzineArticles, GoArticles...

You should be able to get a good ranking after doing some backlinking to your article.
