Hey again looking for some improvement on getting more optins. What is your advice for creating a bribe to get people to optin? |

It totally depends what your target audience is. You have to focus the "bribe" to them. For example, for our supplement site, we offer free access to a library with several dog health related articles. Since our visitors are there for dog supplements, that offer works well. |

Offer free video or 2nd best free report? As a general rule - the better your free offer the better your response will be. There's a OTO about great opt-in rates - it's actually based on being minimalistic rather than giving too much info (on squeeze page) - I've bought it this morning - but not read it yet - but it does actually appear to be a good concept. I'll certainly be testing it out. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this link but here's the wso - it looks pretty cool to me: How to create 60%+ squeeze pages in under 4 minutes... (only $7) Hope that helps - best wishes - Dave |

Hi Sir/Madam I think it would be cool if you could be laser targeted on your squeeze page. For example if you use articles to get traffic, and your articles are all about "how to do _____" you could provide a short report on a quick fix for that problem. People love quick fixes and they should pounce on your offer. Especially for free because it is very related to where your traffic has come from =) Hope I helped! Zack |

Make the optin offer irresistable to those you are targeting. Test your squeeze page - try it with video, very short copy that makes people curious, a little longer copy with proper bullet points, etc. If you're dealing with an optin box on your site - is it prominently placed? Does it stand out? And work on getting more eyeballs to your page. Cheers, Peggy |

Sometimes it's not even about the offer so much as the layout of your squeeze page. Keep the actual opt-in box above the fold. That's a must. And keep it simple. A nifty headline + some bullet points hitting the major benefits for the reader. Also, draw attention to the opt-in box by using a brightly colored arrow and/or a hand-drawn circle around the box. My advice is to keep everything as simple as possible. If you have other links on your squeeze page, remove them so the only thing they can do is sign up or leave the page. When it comes to the "bribe", a picture of the freebie is very effective.Remember to create urgency as well.

Try offering MASSIVE value to your subscribers right from the start and continue with it once they're on your list. It's a crazy strategy I know, but for some reason it seems to work well. |

The best bribe in my opinion is your offer - the one people are subscribing for. You want targeted and interested people on your list right? Then have only those really interested in your offer! for those who need what you have SO BAD they would pay for it, bribe is not necessary.

Your offer has to create intrigue, curiosity and lots of interest but also don't forget that what you actually give them has to be quality information or they won't last on your list. I personally like to create my own free offer of something that I have personal experience with that will be unique with the idea of helping my readers accomplish or learn something.
