Hello everyone. I am a new member and very interested in internet affilliate marketing. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how get started. What is the best company to start with with little money.

If your just starting out, & affiliate marketing is what you'd like to concentrate on, don't do what everyone does and run right to clickbank. Research 'cost-per-action' and get your feet wet with that first.

Set up a blog in a niche that you enjoy and know about. Update it daily and submit it to websites, and within the blog have links to affiliate based products related to your niche. Browse through this forum for ideas on how to promote your blog and make money from it.

Start small, learn and grow

You have made your first step by comming to the warrior forum. I would say read threw some of the old post's on blogging and using commision junction. Also learn about keyword research. For starters.

The main thing that helped me is pick a niche that you like to talk about because you will have to write many articles and if you dont know the subject its going to hinder your actions.

I find that I am constantly pulled in new directions and getting distracted by all the methods discussed. Finally I just honed in on doing one thing and I am now blocking everything else untill I make a several month effort to make that work. The tendency is to go broad in your knowledge - but I know realize that narrow and focused may be best - at least for me.

Yes that's a good point. Target one area or become in expert in something and give yourself a goal. This goal maybe a date in the future or the amt you like to earn and stick to it. If by that date you have tried and studied that method and not made any money move on.

This is how I got started, I tried Articles, SEO, Blogs and then Web2.0.. however PPC made me the quickest money so I'm still loving it.

Start with a niche topic, don't pick something too broad, it doesn't have to be a passion but it should be something that you like, know about or would love to know more about.

Do your homework up front, it's sort of like writing a research paper, pick a topic, select topic categories, figure out what content you want to add, then find affiliate programs that complement that content. Use this forum to help you get ideas and information.

Affiliate programs are free to join, start by looking on commission junction and Linkshare. There's also a affiliate program search engine that will help you find programs at Affiliate Program Search Engine
