I could quit if I want to because my online income is healthy enough, but I earn almost $30 per hour for a fairly easy job. I can take leaves of absences when I choose, reduce my hours when I want to. But people give more legitimacy to marketers who are "full-time" . I know that its my business but I don't like to lie. Sometimes my list members ask me if I'm Full-time or not. Any thoughts on what I should do so safeguard my credibility and keep my honesty in tact? |

I think it only really matters if you're offering a product to others on how to make a full time income or something like that. Lets face it, it's your choice to work and you don't have to justify that to anybody. Many have a job they hate, you're lucky (yep we make our own luck and actually an inspiration) where you have the best of both worlds.. again all by choice and not by necessity. Doing the things you love and making money from them, be it online, be it working for someone else - or both at the same time, is a fantastic place to be by anybody's standards. |

Full-time can be a frame of mind. When people ask me what I do I say I have an internet marketing business. Right now I have a 35 hour a week contract that supplements my full-time internet marketing business. Since you don't have to work 40 hours a week at your J-O-B, you can honestly say you are a full-time internet marketer and also work at ... |

I suppose I can still say that I am a full-time marketer since I'm sure I spend at least 40 hours a week at it.

It sounds to me as though you are a "full time marketer" and have something you enjoy doing on the side. So what if it is paying you $30 hour.... I think the point is you "choose" to do it not "have" to do it. I think that is where teh fine line is drawn.... JMHO... John |
