Default Coming back to IM after 2 years: Whats new ?

Hey Warriors,

First a little background..

I started internet marketing in 2006. Started off like many with hyped clickbank products and got sucked in. My original method was PPC traffic to review sites and I was shocked that in my first 10 minutes of work I made 90$. As you can imagine, I was astounded.

Little did I know that what I had experienced was simply a bit of beginners luck. Over the next two years, I spent hours and hours chasing product after product having my emotions manipulated by deceptive sales pages while adwords was sucking my account dry.

a couple thousand dollars later, I barely broke even with my clickbank sales and gave up.

... and now I'm back, but more confused than ever. There seems to be so many different methods and routes that my head is spinning. This is in addition to how much the internet itself has evolved.

So back to my original question, what does it take to be successful in 2009 and what new changes have come to the internet marketing game ?

.information overload.

Test all the claims that you hear and read about?

Then take everything that works and disregard the rest. Build your own formula and never post about it here.

Unless of course you have something to sell once your market is exhausted.

Check out the new FTC guidelines, especially if you are planning on doing review sites...

Besides that I bet a lot of other stuff has changed, but I'll let the more experienced warriors help you there

cpa is the hottest thing right now clickbank is nothing if compared to cpa industry

the good think is that on cpa networks there is some offers that dosnt require you to bring a sale you are paid if you just get a prospect to fill a short form thats teh beauty of cpa affiliate marketing

I guess that would depend from everybody`s point of view. I actually heard people that prefer CB over CPA.

Wow, man. I would say a lot would have changed.

Not sure what happened back in 2006 but SEO definitely changed, affiliate marketing definitely did evolve, new FTC rules, new media to conduct internet marketing with web 2.0 elements and videos and all..

But honestly, good business acumen and business models and ideas will never change. These concepts last for time.

You have them, you have them forever.
