I'm about to launch a membership site and I was wondering about which credit card services to use. I've never done any of this before so I'll have to figure it all out but I maybe wanted some pointers about it. I plan to accept Paypal and credit cards. I'm guessing that accepting Paypal is rather easy because I could just get the code from Paypal themselves and set up a recurring billing thing. On the other hand, accepting credit cards I'm a bit hazy on. I plan to run my membership site through a closed forum. I use Vbulletin and it's got built in credit card stuff. There are quite a few different credit card services that you can choose there so I was wondering which one of those is probably best to go with. |

Hmm... I didn't think of that. That's a pretty good idea. First though, I want to get some opinions on what the best way probably is to go about it. Clickbank, Paypal, and like, 5-6 different CC payment systems. The thing is that the built in CC services from Vbulletin will allow me to put it on autopilot. As in, they can enter their CC info and it will automatically grant them membership on the forum. If I decide to go with Clickbank and Paypal, that won't be possible. So that's why I ask. I'm thinking I'd have to do orders manually if I went with Paypal and Clickbank since there are no scripts that integrate them yet. |

| I agree with zainuri72. And Paypal is a reliable company, but I`ve also heard about problems with restrictions and suspended accounts also with them. So be careful.

If I were you I would think long and hard about using Paypal, at this moment they have a bad reputation, just input into Google something like paypalwarning.com you have been warned, in the best possible taste, Regards Richie Benaud |
