Default Clickbank for Selling?

Well, there are always threads complaining about missing comissions and stuff *yawn*.

But how is it with the selling? Do people claim that there are lost sales too? I wonder because I'm actually thinking of releasing a couple works of mine through Clickbank. I like that they handle all the stuff for me. Would be uncool if there might even be the shadow of a doubt that every sale goes to my bankaccount though.

Nothing to see here. Move along, citizen.

for what its worth....

I have lost so many sales I can't count them... as in ZERO.

There are thousands of products there and apparently the vendors are happy.

For the service, the support, the quick payment, etc, etc. I like them. Just wish they would charge less...

Have you tried CPA networks to sell your products?

Apparently there are a few that will sell ebooks and software for you, some only find you 'leads' and 'email addresses'.

Hi Allegro,

I've never been not credited for a Clickbank sale - how do I know? Because my software needs to be registered after purchase, and if Clickbank didn't pass the sales details to my site, then my customer wouldn't be able to login.

That's never happened, and so I know for sure that every sale going through the vendor system is credited to me.

Hope this helps!

cheers
Sam

I don't recall vendors complaining much, with or without yawning. I think it's only poor affiliate-tracking that directly causes loss of income. Many vendors, on the contrary, seem to say that offering 75% commission costs them only 50/55% of the affiliate sales overall, because the affiliate tracking problems are in the vendors' favour. So I wouldn't worry.

The transaction costs, of course, are very high (7.25% + $1 per sale, and that's just Clickbank's cut before you pay any transaction/processing fees of your own). But if you want everything done for you, and a ready source of affiliates, well, that's what you're paying for, I suppose.

Good luck!

Well what can I say about Clickbank, lets just say it's great. I have never had any problems with selling or being paid by them. Long may they reign supreme.

Ray

Alexa, I was referring to the affiliate tracking complaint threads that pop up here every day (hence the yawning on my part ). Great if there are no problems for publishers, though.

I know. Hence my friendly little dig about it: there are many often-repeated threads in the forum that have no interest or relevance to me, too, but I recognise that they're also issues that affect the livelihoods of large numbers of other Warriors, so I don't make a point of mentioning to people that they bore me.

I think there aren't well-known, serious ones, anyway, apart from obviously the very high transaction costs.
