Default Clickbank New Analytics Thoughts

Clickbank New Analytics Thoughts im definitely not a fan of the new analytics page, it only records about 25% of the hops I really receive it is way off compared to the old one. It is truly dissapointing to say the least, i enjoyed seeing how many hops i was getting on a daily basis to see my progress in my internet marketing.

Am i missing something here? Is the old analytics somewhere and I just cannot find it? Or is it gone for good? Your thoughts marketers?

I dont understand them. I guess I need to understand them better. For the last month I would click on the "original analytics" link because I would get a different result. I trust them that they know what they are doing, so I think its my fault as their ignorant consumer. LOL

No, it's actually the other way around. The old analytics recorded many "false" hops. The new one is much more accurate.

A: An automated Internet robot (also commonly known as a spider) is a piece of software that requests a webpage from the Internet (not a human user). Many search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, and thousands of others) use automated Internet robots to index the entire Web for the purpose of providing users an enhanced searching experience. At ClickBank, we have decided to filter these automated visits from our reporting so our users can get a clearer picture of human traffic generated from their business efforts.
Basically, many of the hops recorded on the old analytics were from search engine bots and they are now filtering them out, which is better.

I beg to differ there. Mine is so off its not even funny. Some days I get 200 hops, and it shows 20 on the new b.s one. Why track hoplinks if you are not even getting the correct data. I love Clickbank, but there new analytics is pretty bad as far as the hop count goes I might slow down my marketing through them just because of this fact. I put in way to much work for my analytics to not be working like it should! You cant see progress with your marketing efforts if your hops are off, they need to track all links new or old so you know whats working and what isn't in your campaigns. Otherwise it ruins the experience altogether. Basically driving blindfolded.... I wish they would give an option to use the old one so i can see progress being made. But it is out of my hands! Lol I am glad I got that off my chest now i feel better!

Has the data actually changed though? I thought that they are now just showing it in a new fancy way.

Where do you get the data that you've had 200 hops? Really wondering because if there is something more accurate I would like to know.

Personally I've never seen any indication that their hop counts are wrong. In fact I am pretty impressed with their stats.

The only problem I have with the new stats is that they're nowhere near real time. I like to check my stats periodically, and having them lag 4-5 hours behind with no defined update schedule is irksome.

why not just implement your own tracking system and use CB's as a back-up alternative source?

if you accurately filter out SE bots, you'll have an accurate count and not have to rely on someone else to give you data that is so critical to your business operations.

Automation is the primary conduit to successful relaxation
