Hello warriors! I was needing help on adding video to my wordpress blog. I have the "flv embed" plugin, but don't know quite how to use it. Here's what I did so far. Made the video, uploaded to /public_html/wp-content/uploads Now what do I need to do? If you are using the flv embed plugin, please share some step by step instructions. Also, if there's a better way than the flv embed plugin then please let me know! Jeff |

I'm not sure about flv embed plugin, but I used Hana Flv Player plugin Hana Flv Player | WP Marketing which was very easy to set up. I simply converted the file to .flv, uploaded it and used the radio button to [hana-flv-player...] command within the page or post. It works very well. |

If you have some funds to invest, the easy video player in the WSO's is quite amazing. You'll be able to embed where ever you want on your host - on all your sites. |

Jeff, Skip the .flv plugin. It's much easier to bypass that. You can do it a few ways. You can obviously embed a YouTube video quite easily with the link inside your WP editor. The easiest way is to just embed it in flash if you have Flash Pro. You can then have the ability to modify the look of your play controls and skin the whole video to have it seemlessly integrate into your WP page. If you have Flash and have more questions about this I'd be happy to help! -Save Travels, |

It's pretty simple: On top of your post there is a row of icons: bold, italics, etc... There is also a "kitchen sink" icon. If you hover over it it will say 'show/hide kitchen sink'. Click on it and you will then get a second row. In the second row there is an icon that looks like a film strip. If you hover over it, it is says 'insert/edit embedded media' Click on that, enter the URL of your video, and that's it. Hope that helps. |
