I cannot find this plugin for download anywhere. Is it still available and if not are there other options?

    Have you looked at WP Robot? I personally prefer it. Has a lot more options.

    WPRobot comes with a fee attached guys, you might want to check that out.

    yaab was (and still IS) one of the best autoblog plugins.

    Some free autobloggers post rss feeds, others post articles. Not sure if there are free ones that do both.

    Here is the zip file as an attachment...

    (For the future:
    - try different searches with your favourite SE
    - sooner or later you will locate the file or a file from the plugin's directory on a site
    - unfortunately, too many WP sites leave their subfolders open to viewing... so going to example.com/wp-content/plugins - you can see all their installed plugins
    - save all those files you need to your HD
    - make sure you red the README files to have the correct folder/files structure
    - have fun)

        As opposed to other plugins like Caffeinated Content or Wpomatic, Yaab supported both RSS as well as articles, videos.

        It has a VERY powerful perl-style content rewrite function (this alone is worth gold if you realize what it can do..eg. URL rewrites etc... )..just overall better than WPomatic which most other people use, and in addition yaab is free. Its a shame he stopped developing this...

        I have seen the author a few times here on the forum some time ago.

          Those are definitely winning features. I only dabbled with yaab on one site, and clearly missed its full range of potential uses. I'll have to look into it again. I guess the developer moved onto other things (I recall that he is an MD?).

      Thank you very much, every search I did came up with dead or broken links. Didn't look at other blogs plugin folders, interesting concept. I know about the security aspect of that.

    What do you mean by "URL rewrite"

    Also, I use WP Robot, so I guess this YAAB plugin wouldn't be much of a benefit to me?

      I dont think i ever tried wp-robot.

      The rewrite function would work with regular expression wildcards...so you could pull content and manipulate the content, keywords, URL etc. in any way thinkable. (Bad example: replace existing links with yours...etc.) or maybe replace keywords with anchor text and your aff link...stuff like that.
