Default feedburner problem

i have been trying to work this out the past week and i am at lost...

i wanted to set up a feedburner account for my wp blog. however, feedburner cannot burn my feed.. ie. they cannot find a valid feed with the address i enter. using the feed validator, this is the message i get:

Server returned HTTP Error 404: Feed not found error: FeedBurner cannot locate this feed URI.

anyone had that same issue in the past? thanks for your help, as always.

Having a link and the possibility to take a look at your source code would help.

In the first half of the year we are supposed to work for the taxman. I think that's a mistake.
Help me to get rid of the taxman ASAP - thanks! (You, too, should make less mistakes!)

Are you using safari to get your feed url by chance?

Make sure you give feedburner the http:// path to your feed. Safari puts feed:// in front sometimes and that won't work elsewhere.

If it's a new blog you may have to publish at least one post before FeedBurner will pick up your feed...

All the best,

The last time I created a feed using feedburner, I provided only my blog url. They will let you create RSS feed by just entering your blog url instead of your feed url.

This is what they say above the space where you enter the url:
Burn a feed right this instant. Type your blog or feed address here

So I guess your blog url will create RSS without any error.

Sit back and relax, while you take advantage of this freelance writer.

Heads up: Feedburner recently changed URL structure, which harms Google hierarchical interpretation.

Good Health to You,
Ed
