Default Best Type of Site for Getting into Ebay Partner Network

I've got several niche focused micro sites running with Adsense on board and would like to start a group catering to EPN.

Trouble is, I cant figure out exactly what kind of site they are looking for.

I've managed to register unsuccessfully already once with a product review site (which would seem to be a perfect fit for ebay items) and I'd like to avoid strike 2.

Can someone who has recently been accepted tell me what kind of "site description" works best for this program?

any site without adsense or any other ads on the page.

Blog with lots of non sale content will mostly get accepted

OK, I got a few of those. Seems a bit non-sensical to use a site like this for Ebay referrals but, whatever, I'll play along,.

Take a moment and look at it from their perspective..... They are paying you for traffic. The traffic will be more likely to result in sales if it was based on real content, is a shopper and not a looker, was engaged/interested enough in the material to click through to eBay, AND isn't surprised (irritated) when they get to where they are going and find out they are on eBay.

In their minds this means content rich sites which do well in the SERPs and draw shoppers into the fold. Even better if it turns out that these are returning shoppers.....

They also have a corporate sense of what seems "spammy" to them and don't want to be associated with it. Right or wrong... that's the way it is.

I just used a little hobby site that I put a bit of work into back in June/July. I haven't even updated it for nearly 2 months.

I put in my application that I would expand on the info on the site by monetising it in that same space.

It was a sudoku site....I can't imagine ever using ebay on there really but it got me in

Thanks for your replies.

OK, the site I'm considering applying with is built around a home audit business. Its a PR3 site that's been online for ~ 2 years. I have a blog on there as well that's been active for some time.

If it were you, what would you write in to the site description or monetization strategy?
