Need Help With My WP Blog

I set my WP blog up to have 20 post on a page, but I would like to change it and have just 1 post on a page. The problem is when I change it to one post per page the rest of my post go to archive, but when I click on the archive link it takes me to an error page at my hosting account.

If anyone knows what I can do to fix it please let me know.

Thanks
Clint

A link would help... but here are the basics that apply to any similar situation.

    1. Posts are "archived" in the database in the moment you create them. Even if they are on your first/home page, no exception!
    2. Setting the number of posts to 1 - it will have an effect on ALL of your so-called "multi-post views" = index, monthly and category archives, search results etc.
    3. Many themes have a pre-coded "Archives" link in their menu because most of the amateur theme designers have no idea what they are doing...
This link will only work if
    a) you have set the nice permalinks
    b) you do have a Page called Archives
    c) usually, a) and b) requires that you created the Archives page using a Page template called, probably, archives.php

First step to try to fix it: check your permalink settings.

It looks like ALL your links create errors, not just your archive links. That would lead me to believe that your database or .htaccess file is jacked up.

My vote is on permalinks (and .htaccess).
Set your permalinks back to the default and it should work.

In the meantime you will have time to figure out what was screwed up...

Thanks Greg and Istvan, I did set it back to default and they seem to work now. Thanks for the help, I don't know much about permalinks and .htaccess so I will leave it at default for now until I learn a little more.

      Thank you
      Clint
