Hi everyone,

Im looking for a way to do some easy bookmarking myself. I came across social marker and wondered if its any good?

Also what do you recommend for bookmarking. I would prefer a free program if at all possible, however a paid software is not out of the question.

Thanks

I have used social marker for just a few sites at a time. I recommend hiring someone here at WF for pretty cheap to do for you.

    I've used it.
At first i thought i could enter my info select the sites and hit submit..but no you got to have an account and sign in >submit>sign out >repeat for every site you want to bookmark.

I haven't used any service yet. I am in process of creating a spreadsheet list of all sites i'll submit to across all marketing areas. I figure it might be easier that way.

The good thing about socialmarker is the info you type in at the start can be dragged an dropped in place for faster submission.

BUT i don't like that i have to complete all selected sites,go back and re-enter new info for a new site. I'd prefer to submit multiple sites to 1 site while i'm logged into that site, rather than logging in/out multiple times.

Surely there is a better solution out there?

Yasky, this may be a little off topic, but you should really consider joining the war room. The information you get in there could eliminate your need of things like SocialMarker.

If anyone has a quick way to sign up for all these accounts (outsource maybe?), I'd love to know.

Haven't used it yet myself, but it's in my bookmarks.

      Hi Yasky

I have used social marker. Quite a bit at the beginning of this year. As said in some of the other posts I found it a bit time consuming but easy to use and was/is a lot better than doing it manually.

I actually got fed up with having to set up accounts manually so ended up getting Big Mikes social bot which has a semi automatic account creation facility (you still have to put in captchas etc) which made life a lot easier for me. The cost (unlike socialmarker which is free) is around 23/24 bucks but often he has sales and I got my copy for $7 which was money well spent.

I have now moved onto to something more sophisticated but I think you should consider looking at social bot may save you a lot of time and in my opinion much easier and more efficient to use than social marker when you get used to it.

      Hope that helps

      regards

      Peter

I used to use social maker as well, but as many have stated, it becomes quite time consuming. I have been a customer of traffic-bug.com for a month and it has saved me tons of time, you only submit it once and will gained tons of backlinks, and you don't need to create accounts it post them.

It also submits your websites to tons of rss directories.

It is 20 a month, but it is well worth it.

There are some decent bookmarking s/w apps out there now, it is criminal to waste time using something like social marker, who the hell has that kind of time to waste. There's a guy selling a decent piece of bookmarking s/w as a WSO right now, gets good reviews, pretty much automates the entire process including account creation etc, there are others around as well.

Sure, the one I saw recently was this one:
          http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...t-s-check.html

Has decent feedback, I loved everything about it apart from the lack of scheduler , but as long as you don't hammer it you should be fine.

I think there are also a variety of people offering social bookmarking services in WSO for what amounts to vastly less money than it makes sense you doing it for.

I can't honestly get to grips with anybody doing social bookmarking on a large scale themselves manually, sure fine if you have one site and you're just doing it on a page by page basis as you go to a few sites but in any kind of serious scale, you need proxies, you need a large number of accounts, you need automation to login to those accounts, confirm e-mails and so forth.

Manual social bookmarking is going back to the stoneage unless it's a cheap outsourcer, then I'm fine with it :-)

I am a very happy Social Bot user - I can bookmark to 80+ sites in 15 mins or so I think there's a sale coming up too - it's a steal at $24, let alone any cheaper.
