Hi all, A non IM organization hired a family member last year to device the ultimate Encryption software. Normally, after it had gone its merry way we would no longer be able to sell something of this nature due to security issues but this isn't the case here. What I want to ask is - would anybody be interested in this software? The relative that designed it, want me to sell it for them (They heard about the whole IM thing) but I have no idea which direction to market it. It encrypts any file to the point where it is totally impossible to decrypt, without knowing the sentence the other person encrypted it with. Its apparently a whole new level up from what the governments had been using, so pretty good. Lots of research, time went into this software but I don't know if anyone outside of the organization that bought it would want it. Can anyone think of any ideas? The only thing that sprang to my mind was encrypting inappropriate pics LOL and I'm not convinced thats a market I want to target for anyone. Any Ideas appreciated, Colin |

| PHP Encoder, protection, installer and performance tools from ionCube: Home already exist and it can not be cracked no matter how much people might say it can ... So is there a market for a unknown peice of software, not sure about that but I put my money on ioncube... James |

I tell them there's one out there all ready that people trust, and concentrate on my own thing. Thanks James |

Colin, you're absolutely correct, and this software is free as well! So I really don't see any point in trying to market this, and it sounds like they want to sell it as a high ticket product. Just google 'truecrypt' and you'll find the software - it protects your data with military-grade encryption, and even provides plausible deniability, which is just a fancy way of them saying that the software makes it look like there's nothing there (unless you know exactly what to look for.)
