My Success Story With Articlesbase

Much have been debated here on EZA's power to help you rank well in SE.
However,I've to say that Articlesbase(AB) is just as as good as (maybe BETTER than) EZA.Here's why:

1)4-5 of my AB articles are ranking on Google's 1st page without any backlinks.

2)I submitted the same articles to AB and EZA and bookmarked it with the same links. Eventually, AB outranked EZA

3)Usually I'd submit articles to AB with anchor text pointing to my EZA articles to build backlinks. It'll be the same content but different titles with keywords. However,my AB article outranked EZA without any backlinks or nothing for my targeted keywords. In fact I'd build more backlinks for EZA but still it'll lose out to AB.

4)1500 plus views without any promotion or whatever for a few of my AB articles in the past 30 days.80% of my traffic is from the big G

5)I used to get 6-15 list members a day when I had about 40 plus AB articles. However when I deleted some CRAP or NON Relevant articles,Immediately my new list members reduced to 0-5.Made a huge mistake!!

Although it's impossible to track down my AB's CTR,still it's one of my fav as there're other important stats (ex: referrer, number of views, graphical comparasion, how I'm getting traffic)

So if you're TIRED of using EZA because of it's STUPID rules and longer APPROVAL time, maybe AB might help you!!

WHY would AB do what EZINE's doing now? AB is a FREE article directory with instant approval rate and time. I don't think that it'll be as strict as EZA at all!!

Although it may appear ludacrous for AB to copy EZA with their policies but it is very probable that they will, why?

EZA like AB both want traffic, in order to get traffic they require links and content.

While AB is looking to obtain market share its policies will be very laxed in order to attract more people to use their services.

Once they start receiving more traffic they will want to clamp down on the content and ensure the quality is top notch, in order to keep people interested in what will be represented as a good quality site on peoples bookmarks.

Maybe now we will see good results from using their service, but don't dedicate all of your attention to this one resource as like everything in this world, time is limited.

        Wishing you all the best,

        TheG

I have been thinking of using articlebase for my marketing for some time now but I notice they don't accept duplicate articles. I submitted an article to EZA some weeks ago and try to submit it to Articlebase but it was rejected for not being unique.

Are you submitting the same article as to EZA and articlebase?

Usually I'll change the TITLE and the resource box of the articles that I submit at EZA to AB.

That's exactly what I do along with changing the first line a little too and voila a new article .

I find articlesbase to be exceptional and I've said this before yes, as good as Ezine.

I get lots of view for my articles and they rank very well and tend to stay there for a long time.

depends on niches, some other article sites rank very well too. but I still can not figure out why this may happen. Is it possible that search engine classifies site to certain categories and use it for the ranking system?

erm..I'm not sure what's the exact reason for AB articles to OUTRANK EZA but I believe that the amount of articles on a particular category will determine it's ranking in SE.

Other articles in a category will act as backlinks to push your article's SE ranking.Just like EZA, if any article managed to rank in the most viewed section, then other articles in that category will be crosslinked and thus giving you a lot of backlinks. The MORE competitive is your niche, the more articles will be written, and eventually THE more will be your backlinks.

I believe that other AB's articles in my niche are a lot and thus giving me the extra backlinks to push it's SE ranking!!

I'm not sure how accurate is my answer, but maybe it may answer your questions!!

    Great results.

I didn't use Articlebase that much in the past. But a few days ago, an article I submitted got on the first page, rank #1 of Google for a decent keyword without any backlinks. It's sending me like 20 or so visitors a day and an odd sale every now and then.

I've started submitting more to AB now.

YES!! AB is way more better than EZA at least for the moment. It'll instantly APPROVE your articles and immediately you can start building backlinks to it unlike EZA where you've to wait 7-14 days to be approved.

One thing to keep in mind with Articlesbase if you're trying to build backlinks is that they use "no follow." If all you are after is traffic, then that might not be a concern. If you want both, I still have to go with Ezine Articles.

      Thank Rod.

You know, I sit and look at SE rankings all day long - it's what I do.

I don't know where this sudden big idea that GA and AB are outranking EZA came from. I do see AB articles ranking more and higher, but I don't see any drop (in either quantity or number) in the EZA rankings whatsoever. They are just as prominent as they always have been.

I think this may be a case of mistaken identity! At least from my most recent standpoint.

For the record, even though a bunch of crappy, rehashed and poorly written articles are littered throughout GA and AB (just like they were in EZA), they are still great places for article marketers to check out and possibly utilize in their article marketing campaign(s).

Test ém out and if they work for you, use them.

      Respectfully,
      Allen

Actually it depends on how you're using AB.If it's TRUE BUM MARKETING method, then you won't care about the backlinks from AB but instead focus more on building backlinks to AB articles to push it's SE ranking!!

I do not really understand why we should build backlinks for published articles. Here is a simple calculation: even your article is ranked the #1, only x% people will click the links in resource box. It mean although the article is ranked high, but actually, only x% of that traffic will go to your site. and averagely, the X is a low #. Why not just take time to build backlinks for your own site?

        just my 0.02.

Most article sites with PR5 and above can easily dominate SE with minimum backlinks compared to your main site.

Article base is amazing. I talked about this several month ago. I don't know how they did it, but here is an example.

Before yesterday I wrote an article and submitted it to articlesbase.com to get on the first page of Google for a highly profitable keyword (my blog and and EZA article are already on Google's first page) and moved on.

... and yesterday, when I checked in Google fo this keyword, the article base article was ranked #1... the EZA some spots below... and my blog some spots below the EZA article.

So kudos for articles base! They did a great job.

I'm not sure it's an exact science. I just noticed after a few weeks of submitting a lot of articles, about 5 a day (that I made sure were to a good standard), that suddenly they were being published right away. So maybe 2-3 ish weeks or so but can't say for a fact.

It's not as if they take that long in the beginning anyway, like a 1-2 days max.

Just keep submitting and before you know it, your articles will be getting published more quickly.

This thread has been very helpful as I have been considering publishing the articles I have written but have been putting it off for some unknown reason. I guess my main reason is because there are just SO many articles out there and I feel that my articles will just be "lost in the shuffle" and I guess I am just a little gun shy of being shot down. I know, I won't know what would happen unless I try.

I am going to go ahead and take a stab at it over the weekend.

Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback on this thread as well as others I have been reading the past few day... everyone here is great!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I've said for a long time that ArticleBase is a great place to submit to as they rank well in the SE's. I'm pretty sure that ArticleBase gives you nofollow links though which for the big part of article marketing, it doesn't matter. I thought that may be the reason the articles rank well.

Not submitted to them for a while. Will have to start doing so. Thanks for the great thread!
