HI everyone

Newbie here - great forum.
Just wondered if anyone had signed up to or tried textlinks.com? They are currently offering a free trial and I'm curious to see if people feel this kind of paid link building service can work, or will it just get banned and give your website a slap along the way?

I'd steer clear of sites like these, always look too dodgy for me

  I tried them when I FIRST started doing IM. I was promoting some membership site. I think I got one or two clicks from them during my trial period and I dumped them. Perhaps they work for other people but it didn't do much for me. Sorry. Just my honest experience. Is the FCC going to come after me?

They're owned by the same owners as Backlinks.com: Buy and Sell Text Links . There services are pretty good in the fact that you can get links up within minutes.
