How get a real traffic?

Hi Warrior Forum Members,

I am trying to get a traffic to my affiliate link and I don't have a success.
I am using craiglist as a first step to a traffic.
I need get an advise what tools should I use to get a real traffic.

    First off all...get AWAY from Craigslist. The place sucks if you don't have a small team doing submissions all day.

    1. Set up a blog around your niche product
    2. Outsource the writing of LOTS of articles from people who write GOOD articles (don't be afraid to pay for good content)
    3. Submit all the articles to the major article directories
    4. Write blog posts on your blog which covers topics around your product.
    5. Use social bookmarking services (outsourced) to mass bookmark your best blog post.

    Make sure to link from your submitted articles to your blog.

    That will set you up good. Then just repeat.

    Most traffic you get from established article magazines like ezine, and GOOGLE.

    Establish a very high position on google (preferrably #1) for a good keyword and your site.

    This involves quite a bit:

    - keyword research
    - an attractive site, attractive product
    - SEO, active building of backlinks to build Google position and PR
    - SEO, on-site SEO to optimize your page for the keyword.

    Its easiest you start out with article marketing and take advantage of traffic which is already there - eg. at ezinearticles com

    You need to post answers on Yahoo answers and submit articles to Ezinearticles.com to get real traffic.

    There are tons of ways to get traffic, just search around the forum.

    However to get targeted traffic you sometimes have to think outside the box. Things can depend a lot on your niche selection therefore try to think of things that you can do which will get people to your links.

    For example, some thing that you can do is get in touch with the product creator and do an interview with him. That way, you can include this in your landing page, and this will (in my opinion) make you seem as someone more believable than just being another affiliate.

      Either pay for it or go organic.

      PPC or SEO.

      PPC is fast traffic that dies with time and cost $$
      Organic is SEO (search engine optimizatin) for keywords to rank on the first page of Google.

      Key: Find keywords that your traffic is searching for (5k or more a month) wrap those keywords around a domain name like h**p://www.howtogettraffic.com and then work on your SEO and promotion to get onto the front page of Google for those keywords.

      Once in the top ten for your keywords the traffic WILL find you via natural searches.
