Default Alright a newbie here and questions

Good Afternoon,

Where to start I guess is the question, anyway here is my story, currently I work 2 jobs, I have been floating with the ie market for some time, have I made any money, flat out no I have not, I have read things on adwords, adsense, some here and there on wordpress, or what not. I have been told first to start out with affilate marketing, I am new to the forum, but my question is this, where do I really start, as for spending money, I have to say I have spent money on this that and the other thing, but yet to see anything happen. I know you have to drive traffic to your site if you have one set up, I am not looking to break the bank today or tommorrow, I told myself a realstic goal for me would be making 5.00 a day on the internet, maybe that is chump change for some of you or nothing, but hey I am being realstic at first and if I can do that then raise my expectations.

Where do I really start. I look at the different things everyone is saying well you can do this that and the other, would I love someone that could mentor me sure it would be great, but I even understand everyone is busy working on there own projects, where did you start and did someone help you out doing it or is it something you crashed and burned on and then learned to figure it out. For someone new, where do you suggest I start, I am not looking to spend a giant amount of money, heck at least not yet till I get things down pat and feel that it would be a good investment.

I would apperciate any help or any programs for a new person, give me your insight and what you think has helped you get to where you get at.

Thanks

Ok, you said you know some things already, so maybe the first thing is to ask yourself what do you want to do? What is sounds good for you, attractive for doing etc. Don't think about money in the first time, money will come that is for sure.
For example my ex college professor show me some things how to make money with google adsense, and it was really interested for me, so it was my first online money and my first job on the internet.
I made my first blog on blogger.com, started to promote and i got my first check after 4-5 months, it was about 104.94 or something similar i can't remember know.

Yes I am....I wouldn't recommend it if I wasn't. As a matter of fact I just completed an intense 4 wk session from him personally. That was kind of expensive but well worth it....plus it was more for strategies and systems than a step by step guide.

The place I sent you is very good and, like I said, gives you everything in easy-to-digest pieces. It's helped me tremendously.

Hey neo3006,

Read your post and immediately realised that you need to focus on ONE thing, learn as much as you can about it with the ultimate goal to master it.

That ONE thing could be InfoProduct Creation, PPC, CPA, Article Marketing etc. etc.

Just choose one thing you think you'll be good at and stick to it. Don't get distracted by the next big thing. Focus on ONE thing.

Best advice I've read anywhere on Focus is this:

"Focus is wanting something so bad that you measure every action against the answer to one question:

"Does this move me closer to what I want, faster
than whatever else I could be doing?"

Focus is the thing that separates the successes from the almosts.

It's sometimes the hardest thing to get and keep. And it's easy as knowing what you really want and gauging your actions based on the answers to that one simple question.

Think about it. Tape that question on your computer.

Then do something with it. Right now.
"

It's written by a guy called Paul Myers who in my opinion is the most talented and engaging writer of Internet Marketing there is on this planet.

I've written a ton of stuff on how to focus and on how to get and stay motivated, but I think My Myers words capture the essence of the word 'focus' in relation to IM better than anything else I've ever read or written myself - Garry grudgingly admits!!!

Just wanted to share this with you buddy because I think it will help you.

Garry.

Your right, I tend to focus on alot of different things when I am doing things and that probably is a problem, I just need to find my niche at what I am good at and learn from there and see how I can do it. Thanks for the advice guys. I hope to one day write in here my own success story.
