There's some software out there called VBSEO that optimizes your vbulletin forum to rank in google much more easily. Anyone tried it, and if so is it worth it?

I've used it in the past. You'll need some pretty decent resources to run them both together. You'll probably want to consult with your hosting company before you implement them to get advice on what server configuration they'd recommend.

How was it for rankings and the SEO stuff it does though?

I didn't have it up long enough to get a good gauge on that. I'll be bringing the forum back up soon, but probably too late for helping you make your decision.

Well, I've used it in the past and it's cool. Helps with SEO stuff etc.

But as far as I know, with the release of vB 4.0, it's already well SEOed. Correct me if I'm wrong.
