There comes a time in everybody's life when they need to make a decision which will dictate their next 10yrs of existence on this planet. Those of us who have made the decision to pursue an independant lifestyle based on the fruits of our labor through this medium we call "The Internet" are faced with yet another decision all of its own when we get here... Are you looking for quick cash OR are you looking to contribute substance? I personally choose to create substance, yet I've been a hustler all my life. My first business was in a foreign country at the age of 20 after being there for 3yrs working for someone else. To me, IMHO, if you don't have the "hustler mentality"; and not the negative connotation of the word where 'the hustler' is portrayed as one who is trying to hustle someone out of something they hold dear - but the mentality that you'll work harder and failure is not an option; you're only looking for quick cash. Or the quick fix; much like a drug addict is looking for a quick fix to their existing problems. Stearns Business School, Harvard Business School and NYU; (my alma mater); all tell their students that the average business will lose money for the first 3yrs, (on average), and that we should create our business plan(s) to compensate for this (loose) fact. Yet, the Internet has those same Professors eating their words on a regular basis. This, however, seems to be a double edged sword; as there are many whom approach the Internet, (as a business model), with the expectations of over-night success. Thinking that there is this coveted "easy button" lurking around somewhere; much like the 1700's sought after Holy Grail. This flawed mentality is also personified by the proverbial, (I really don't give a f*&% about you), Internet Marketer; (those with reading comprehension problems, please read this FULL statement again before getting in a huff from misinterpreting my words to be saying all IMer's are scamists - thank you). The so-called "Newbie" is instantly innundated with claims of "Do Nothing; Make Millions" type advertisements the minute they allow their eMail address to be publicized. This is daunting, I'm sure. Yet, I don't view the individuals that are actually seduced by these blatantly obvious ludicrous claims, because... if your original agenda was to 'contribute substance', then (no matter how 'hard' it may seem) how can you be so easily swayed from your original direction? Think about that. "Success is awarded to those who have the fortitude to stay the course." Dean Whitter It takes massive conviction and laser beam focus on your goals to be successful in any business. You can not allow some Joe or Jane; (please forgive me if your name is Joe or Jane); to sway you away from that conviction and/or focus. And if you're already commited to the ideal of creating something of substance and contributing something to society instead of thinking society owes you something.. you're nodding your head in agreement right now, as you read this. SO, ask yourself the question.. Are you looking for quick cash OR are you looking to contribute substance? Just a little food for thought, huh? PLP (Peace, Love & Prosperity) tecHead |

Hi Techead I been into internet marketing for two months now. I want to contribute value, God knows I am a man with deep principles when it comes to serving people. In the long run definitely I want to be know as someone who made a difference. By then money will just be secondary. But today, in the mean time, I'm running out of funds to cover the basic necessities in my life. In the mean time I think I can live with the fact that I will be using PLR contents to build an adsense site. It does leave some bad taste, but then I don't know what else to do due to the urgency of the moment. Maybe when things settle down. When funds come in regularly, then I can start working on the original contents and ideas in my head. Believe me there's tons of it. I started logging my ideas three years ago. My opinion about making immediate cash as against providing value is: Do what the present requires, if it requires you provide secondary content so that atleast you'll earn a bit immediately, so do it! But boy by all means act! my .02 ~RapidScc |

adsense requires you to drive lots of traffic to be successfu, if you can do this, place something on there that will give you dollars there is many programs that will give you dollars for leads affiliate programs will give you dollars but don't set your business model around adsense this is a suckers game in todays market unless you have so much traffic you don't know what to do with it. You should not be coming out of pocket to sustain your business; as much as possible. Each expense of the business should be justified by the business; meaning, your business plan should be structured to sustain itself through its own operations. This is the whole purpose, (well.. one of them, anyway), behind incorporating your business. To separate personal assets/liabilities from those of your business. I can't see myself justified by giving you this criticism without offering up a viable solution, as well... so... Here's something you should do. Someone else posted a thread; (which I don't feel like looking for); that asked "what would you do with $600 on the Internet to make money?" (I'm paraphrasing, of course).. Anyway, in that thread I posted some advice based on what I know "today"... and you actually don't need the whole $600, but its good to have some cushion. 1. Go to this site --> Gutenberg.org 2. Search it for 3 to 4 books that relate to your chosen niche and download them. Read through them and break the content up into chunks that can be spread over about 6mths worth of eMail newsletter content. Each eMail containing at least 200 words worth of content. Make sure to "add your own voice" to this content series; as you really don't wanna just spit out somebody else's material and appear to be something you're not. Adding your own voice will also establish your personality and a relationship with your readers.(free) 3. Go to this site --> xMailWrite.com 4. Download the free tool provided there; which is a too specifically created to help you organize the writing of an autoresponder series. (free) 5. Start building your series from the content above and be sure to frequently save your progress. 6. Go to this site --> ClickBank 7. Search the MarketPlace for products that compliment your niche and autoresponder series to be used as "Ads" in your autoresponder series. BE SURE these products are "quality products". You don't necessarily need to buy them in order to make an educated assumption that they're quality. You also have this forum to bounce information off of for reviews from those that have already purchased the products. 7a. You could possibly even find yourself in a position to create a couple of JV's based on featuring those willing to give testimonials for said products IN your newsletter. (Remember, "the hustler mentality". The hustler's eyes are ALWAYS open). 7b. I shouldn't have to tell you this, but be sure to open a Seller's Account at ClickBank so you can actually make money. ![]() 7c. DO NOT post these products in your newsletter with the voice that you're 'endorsing them' IF you haven't actually purchased them. As an alternative, just post them as "Please check out our Sponsor's Offerings"; or something along those lines. NEVER "lie" to your people! 8. Get yourself a gMail Account and study the sections on POP access and how to set it up. Nothing over the top technically. Pay attention and you'll have no problems. 9. Go to this site --> FollowUp Expert 9a. Opt for the $50 personal version. Set the software up on your PC; (granted you're on a Windows OS computer -- if you're on a MAC, then you're gonna have to do some research for a comparable product, I don't know of one); and attach it to your gMail account. 9c. The FollowUp Expert site has information on how to do this; read and you'll have little to no problems. 9d. TEST YOUR SETUP!! 10. Once you have all of the above accomplished and only then go to this site --> ListOp.com ListOpt is a co-reg site; which means HE will build your Opt-In list FOR you, (for a price, of course). This site is used by "gurus", (I have actual confirmation from a couple of them, to this fact)... so you can trust it and Glen. 10a. You're lucky! I just checked and Glen is currently running a special offer where you're saving money (a lot, actually -- he normally charges $97mth). Just make sure you're paying to get your list built. Read all the information there and they'll point you in the right direction. 10b. Glen's site has information on how to set up an "auto import" function for the lists info he gives you. 11. As you can see, I'm not going to do the work FOR you, but you're now pointed in the RIGHT direction to put an easy business model together that is pretty much on auto-pilot that WILL (IF you do it with integrity and focus factoring in your "hustler gene") more than likely make you some money through ClickBank sales. 11a. Wash, Rinse, Repeat... There ya go, bro... why are you still sitting here reading this?? ![]() HTH PLP, tecHead | |

If you are really in hot need of cash, then join affiliate programs. I joined a program that allows me to subscribe to SIX affiliates all at once. This greatly reduces the cost of internet marketing as a newbie and ensured quick returns. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the best internet exposures for newbies. To your greatest success, Adiari Captain. |

Do not try to go for the quick Cash. Your Internet business will not succeed in the long run. Always add VALUE to your Customers and Clients. Make sure you are giving valuable content whether they purchase your product or service.
