I want to make my new ebook attractive by using a simple template for its layout so that it has a line as the header and another on the footer.

I have searched for "MS Word" templates and "ebook templates" on google but all I get are complicated image templates for brochures, payrolls etc.

Does anybody know where someone can find simple PDF or MS WORD templates for marketing training ebooks?

Thanks
Mag

If all you're looking for is a header and footer, you don't need a template you can do it yourself.

Open up the document in Word

    View

    Headers and Footers

You can then type in the details you want on the header, and scroll to the bottom of the page and type in the details you want there in the footer.

Let's say you want to do page numbering in the footer.

    When in the footer area.

    Insert

    Page Numbers

Then close the headers and footers.

This will give you the information you have typed on every page, and the page number will automatically change for each new page.

Thanks, but I was looking to graphics in the form of simple horizantal lines. What you described just adds text.

No it doesn't, I just showed how to type words.

You can add any pictures there you want. You can have a hyperlink to a product should you want to do that.

Open up the headers and footers, and then use the autoshapes, which will allow you to do all the lines you want.

Anything you can do in the main body, you can do with the headers and footers and they will automatically show on every page.

Any lines can be changed using the font color to match the colors to your site.

Thanks, I checked out his site. However, as I only want a single basic template, paying $125 for the whole course just for those templates is a bit over my budget.

But you are right, what he is offering is exactly what I am looking for.

I was going to come in here and recommend Tracy, but I see she beat me to it!
I've used Tracy's designs on a few books. They're simple, but elegant and don't
draw too much attention away from the content.

Not trying to be a shill here...just recommending a good product at a good price.
