Hello! I am relatively new to all of this, however I have been reading on the forum for a long time. I am wondering how you have organized your businesses: sole proprietorship, LLC, C-Corp? And why did you choose the structure you did? Any and all help will be appreciated.

In addition, I have what I think is a great website business model. I work in the field of education, so it's based in my area of expertise. Do you have an recommendations for who I should consult with for web design?

Thanks for reading.

The most important thing in Internet Marketing (like most other businesses) is to get started. You can worry about things like your business structure, accounting, tax later. If you haven't got any income you don't need to worry about them.

OK for some businesses it is important to have a good legal structure in place but Internet Marketing is not one. So the short answer is be a sole trader for a while. Once you get established take proper advice - most of my internet businesses here in the UK are held in a UK Limited Liability Company.
