Default Can PRWEB really drive traffic? If so, how much?

I am seriously considering using PRWEB as one of my main tools in my marketing mix. I've read about people being very successful with this approach provided they write a good copy and have something newsworthy to say.

My question is, I am wondering how much traffic can PRWEB potentially send to a site. They boast about getting you targeted traffic, but some folks say expect no more than about 75-100 clickthroughs. That really doesn't seem like a success to me.

Does anybody on here have positive experience dealing with online Press Releases and their ability to drive a large amount of targeted traffic?

I do realize there are many variables to this questions such as the quality of the release and newsworthiness, I am just wondering with those two elements being in place, realistically, what can PRWEB and other big sites really do...on average.

Dlewis78,

Yes it can. It's one of the best Press Release distribution sites thta are out there at the moment.

This may seem like common sense, but if you use PRWeb and combine their distribution of your PR with a network of people posting the direct link to the PR too, you will get tons of traffic. And that network doesn't have to be that large - it should have a broad reach though.

I've gone with PRWeb's most expensive option and it was good for backlinks, drove an OK amount of traffic, didn't meet expectations though. I, also read multiple reviews and decided to just dive in for it, was still definitely worth it, just not as good as I had heard.

We use it mainly for backlinks, not traffic.
