Hey you, yeah you. Thinking about starting off your internet marketing career as an article marketer? Okay stop thinking about it and read this guide. Discover a magical process that will lead you on to your first sale/earning/profit online within 7 days. (Or how many days it'd take for your article to be approved) It's a simple 5 steps guide, but it's effective. At least it worked for me . So stop thinking about it, start reading and applying! Go Go Go!1. Keyword Research So what does this have anything to do with article marketing? Isn't article marketing about writing stuffs? Well, stuff that idea down the drain, or the trashbin, or whichever is nearer. Keyword is a vital part of the game. With them your articles wouldn't be Floundering about within the WWW Ocean! With them your articles would be like the giant blue whale surfacing for a breather. Your article would stick out from the rest for that glorious moment. You'd get attention from all over the globe (literally). And that is absolutely what you want for your article. You want people to click on the article link, you want people to read your article; you want people to click on your links; you want people to publish your articles all over the next; generating backlinks all over the place. And to do that, you need good keywords. Start off right, and success would be within reach. Start off wrong, you'd never see the light. 2. Eye-catching Title. "3 Facts You Need To Know Before Making Any Investments" ; "Discover The Secret Behind ALL Weight Loss Products" ; " 5 Hot Tips To Gain Social Prestige And Recognition" One thing all the titles have in common. They GRAB your attention immediately. At the same time, they invoke an itching curiousity that never goes away unless they click on your title. They are also simple to understand, but at the same time, appearing a little mysterious. Apart from that, you got to integrate your keyword into your title subtlely. So much that it's camoflaged within the title itself. Use simple guidelines like "Tips; Steps; Discover; Facts, etc." and you will never go wrong. 3. Summary as a Slogan Most people just put the first few sentences from the main body into the summary. This might work, but why leave it as that when a summary can help sweeten the deal to click on the link to your article? I like to give a short and sweet slogan as my summary, for example, if the article's title is: "7 Essential Tips To Break Into The Stock Trading Scene" , my summary would be something like this: " Discover these 7 crucial bits of information, which if missing would either decide whether you make it or break it within the stock exchange. Grasp the gist of the summary? Its up to your imagination and creativity, but keep in mind the objective of the summary, which is to Negate Hesitation and persuade the half-decided viewer to click on the link to your article. 4. Article Body Probably the part which everyone dreads. Structuring, constructing, drafting, building your article. Ouch, do you feel a brain-stopper approaching? Here's a tip to start writing your article body. "Keep it simple and sweet" or K.I.S.S. for short. (for some, its probably known as "stupid" instead of "sweet" ) Write down your main body FIRST before writing an article introduction. Structure it like:
*Take Note!* When writing your conclusion, keep in mind that it HAS to be organized in such a way that it would lead smoothly towards the resource box. or author BIO box. It has to FLOW towards the links, and not a dead brick. 5. Author/Resource BIO Box This is your "Source-of-Food". So give as much attention and effort to this as much as you'd for the above factors. There are a couple of ways to write your BIO box but I'd just write down two powerful methods.
"Take Action Now!" Regards, Edmund |

Great post!! I'd like to add a few points here. Remember, quality is more important than QUANTITY. Some of you might say that you've to write 10 articles a day or 100 articles a month. All I've to say is that you should WORK smarter with LESS work.If a keyword is being searched 1000 times a month and you're in top 3, chances are high for your article to be read by the viewers. There's no point writing 100 articles without any keyword research and hoping to get thousands of views!! Here's a simple Article Marketing Plan: 1)Choose a long tail KEYWORD (> 2 words) with decent search amount.Use Google's tool to do keyword research. Another factor that you need to focus is LSI. Always add a few relevant keywords to your main keyword so that Google may find your article relevant to the market. If your MAIN keyword is "dating tips", then of course other related keywords such "relationship","love",and "kiss" should be added in your article. The key is RELEVANCY.The more relevant is your article, the MORE will GOOGLE and other SE like it. 2) Check out the competition. Forget about the competition in quotes or whatever. What you need to focus is the types of WEBSITES in TOP 10 If you can find WEB 2.0 property such as: *Yahoo Answers *Hubpages *Squidoo *Article Directories *Blogger *Youtube and Video Directories Then you've found a GOLDMINE. Understand this.If google allows a particular WEB 2.0 to rank, then of course it'll allow YOURS as well. Then spy on the WEB 2.0 property's backlinks and BUILD more links to beat it This is a simple competition analysis plan that I've been using successfully!! 3)Build backlinks and promote your articles. Here's my suggestion. If you can afford it,then TRY to automate your article promotion. Use software programs that'll automate the submission or promotion process. You can save a lot of time and find that IM is less frustrating. Some of the programs that I'm using right now are: 1)TWITTER 2)RSS BOT 3)Press Release Bot 4)Social Bot Now get started and BLAST your Article Marketing campaigns!! |

Good tips.I think everyone should do more article marketing, A good article can generate hundreds of back links over time. Many people are in a hurry ,want instant results and use PPC instead and often lose money on it. Article marketing is the best "set and forget" marketing technique, you do it once and enjoy free traffic for years to come.Besides, it is free. |

Great post. I'd like to add one thing though. If you are using "do follow" article directories, such as ezine articles, don't use "click here" as your anchor text, use keywords that you want your site to rank for in the SERPs.

Great pointer there! This will help your site's organic traffic in the long run! A keyword can be something like "lose 10 pounds quick" or "Affiliate marketing program reviews* etc. ![]() Ed |

Hey Mike, Selecting the right niche is a preferential prerequisite. Meaning, some people may prefer that method, whereas for some others, they can specialize in any niches they choose to. This has been a controversial issue amongst the article marketing pro.s for quite some time. Then again, to each and his own ![]() Regards, Ed P.S.: Thanks for highlighting that point btw ![]() |

I go over almost an identical method for my own article promotion when I teach article marketing. The thing I would add is "keyword - title" can be a lot more effective for search engines, like "Dog Training Guide - 5 Tips To Finding a Superior Dog Training Guide In Less Than 30 Minutes" or whatever, can't come up with one without revealing some of my niches... Try to give them a "direct number" not a word like "quickly" or "easily", so exlpain it further, like "in less than 1 hour", "a kid could do it" etc. - Chris |

Great point there Chris. By spelling every single detail out (etc. 1 hour instead of quickly) you'll save the reader from over-working his/her brain and induce your article to be more reader-friendly. Bottom-line: When writing your article, be sure to make it as reader-friendly as possible to get them read all the way down to your Resources/author's BIO box. That's the main focus of article marketing, to seduce/attract/induce the readers into clicking your links. Now go grab your share of the market pie! ![]() Ed Quote:

Ed - you gave some great advice - however, you can write the world's best article but if you don't know the best distribution channels to get your articles out to the masses - then unfortunately it's all for nothing. For instance; we use Ezinearticles.com and Isnare.com I hope this helps.

great post, this is stuff you find in a product you would buy. Great quality. To back that post up you need to know how to take that great article and where to submit it, backlink it and build it up to where you will get traffic to it and that traffic convert to clicks on your resource link which is what it is really all about.

As with most things, this model requires consistency. Don't give up after a week and say "Article marketing is dead", keep writing and submitting consistently and you WILL see results. The more you write, the better you write. Sissy |
