PDF Files as a webpage?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to upload a pdf file and have it appear as a web page?
I have a one page PDF which I would like to upload as a web page, but I have no idea how to do it, or even if its possible.

Thanks

At a guess youre probably just best off uploading it as a straight PDF in addition to your existing site. Whilst I havent done this myself, I have seen other IM'ers do it - and I guess it makes sense, especially when people are using the "filetype: pdf" attribute within Google.

Id convert your regular HTML document to a PDF and upload it onto site. Just be sure that you have active links (affiliates/actual site etc) incase it ends up in never never land.

Basically, a PDF file can not "appear" as webpage because... it isn't a webpage.
You can NOT see a pdf file in a web browser. Even if sometimes you have the impression of seeing a PDF file in a browser (when clicking on a link to a pdf file) it is your PDF reader opening in that browser window. Which also means those without a pdf reader will see nothing.

Yes, you can upload it to your server and have a link to it - just make sure you understand that it will never be a web page. Period.

PDF format files will need a PDF reader for sure. So, the visitor will need some PDF plugin in his browser and then only he can open PDf , otherwise not.

If i am understanding you right, then you want the contents of your PDF file to appear as a normal webpage? So, for that you can use one of the numerous PDF to Word softwares available online and convert our pdf to word. Then you can post the contents as a normal webpage.

Another option you have is to convert the PDF file to an image file
and then use that image as a web page.

So your web page will simply be one large image file of the PDF
document. In this way everyone could see it even without a
PDF reader installed on their computer.

I guess this method might not be very helpful for SEO purpose as the search engines cant read the text in the image. Or could be that the OP is talking of some such solution only.

Upload the PDF to Scribd and link the resulting page. The document will appear as part of the web page.
    Here is an example:
The Hidden Brain by Shankar Vedantam (sneak preview)

Anyways, if that's not what you want, please try to be more clear on what exactly do you want to achieve.

I have uploaded pdf files to places like keep and share and made them public. When people click on the link the file opens up for people to see. I have done this as a preview of an ebook. However, I now put the link into an autoresponder to capture the email first.
