Hey Warriors, I'm a great fan of top ten list to make a point. But I'll make this easy. What are the top 5 things that stand in your way of making buckets of cash. And if you've overcome any big ones lately...tell us how you did it. |

1. Other great ideas that come along and distract me from what I'm working on at the moment. 2. Picky details that suck time: registrations, website peculiarities, etc. 3. Other marketers already using my keyword. 4. The limits of my own imagination. 5. Everything I have to do in the world that requires I get up from the computer. |

1. Google's duplicate content filters Still trying to figure out a way to get round this. 2. Detection and downgrading of sites with lots of affiliate links by Google Started using scripts that cloak affiliate links 3. Fear of losing a lot of money through PPC I don't know why, I have spent up to $5000 a month before when I was a merchant but I am scared of losing more than $20 a day. 4. Top performing merchants suddenly ending their programs Can't do anything about it. 5. Promoting too many merchants instead of just the ones that are profitable. This is what I am going to do now. |

Not devoting enough time to creating my own new content, because there is ALWAYS some new SEO tactic that I want to try! (Many of which I learn about in this forum...)

Has anyone implemented Kern's "screw google" system. ie not having to have landing pages. ie just send traffic directly to the offer / not using Adwords. Success? Opinions? |

No one's mentioned the FTC? Or, how about nutty politicians in certain states that pass tax legislation that effectively put affiliate marketers out of business in their states? ![]() Anyway, I think the biggest problem, especially for those starting out, is focus. It's too easy to get torn in different directions, especially if you read a lot of advice on forums. They might get distracted by different techniques, or starting and stopping methods because someone said something wasn't working anymore, or they might jump from product to product, without giving any one method or product a genuine chance to build up and work. |

2) Distraction and lack of focus (Being in IM for some years already i know what works now, but i am still fascinated and distracted by so many things which i want to "try"...sometimes it can be a bad thing )

Yes, I find that damned Internet very distracting. I love it, mind you ...yes, a lot of things I would like to try / be / do ...haven't figured out how to avoid this because it's necessary to keep up on what works / doesn't...but then suddenly 2 hours have gone by reading about it.

Finding Good Offers!!! I am able to drive traffic efficiently to most offers I pickup. But then alas , the visitors don't end up buying. i.e. the product's sales page doesn't convert.
