Article Marketing - Getting Started

I've built (muddled through) two regular content websites. Pretty much convinced that this is not the way to go if I want to reach my goal of giving up my day job eventually. Been reading a lot and have decided that article marketing and affiliate products are the way I'm heading.
I have questions on Sales Pages or Pre-Sale pages.
I've never done one so please bear with me. The pages seem quite lengthy. Can some of the information about the product be pulled from the product's pages? What about testimonials? Can these be pulled from the product's pages?
Is there a good low cost program on building pre-sales and opt-in pages. Or maybe a really good complete product on article marketing, with detailed explanations from start to finish on the whole process? Also, how about a source for templates for sale and opt-in's? Ones that work easily with Wordpress. Thanks so much for any help. Linda

    Welcome here and I hope your experience will be wonderful.

    Now to answer your question, your pre-sell page doesn't have to be lengthy (it can be but doesn't have to) It just need to do the job to get the visitor in a buying mood when they get to the merchants page.

    Most product owners have no problem with you use content from their website. (some may have). Check on their affiliate section and you could find more on that.

    I think you could go place like freelance.com or elance.com to find people who could build you some nice templates for a reasonable price.

    There are a lot of post here with everything you need on article marketing. A simple search will get you all you need.
