Why is the Warrior forum only a PR4?

I don't get it.

As far as I'm concerned the warrior forum is one of the most important site in Internet Marketing on the net today. It is populated by people who eat sleep and breath website promotion. I guess it must be link to from many many sites. Referred to in numourous blogs. Talked about on other forum. Associated with other important sites and yet it is only PR4.

How can this be - or is my Google bar broken?

      Um! Not convinved about this seeing as the main page has no out going links and PR is a page rank not a site rank.

      Although I agree that PR isn't the be all and end all it is an indication of site status, like it or not.

      One main reason may be that the main page URL changed when the new site went live. It lost the forum.warrior if I remember correctly

    PR is of little significance. The main thing is that all the recent changes are improving search engine ranking and I see plenty of evidence of that.

    Honestly, I don't put much weight into PR... All of a sudden, one of my sites lost its PR (from a 5 down to a 0), but my traffic went up and my revenues nearly doubled. I still don't know why it went to a zero, but it's probably a blip since I didn't do anything with the site.

    Possibly in majority cases the links are plaing a major role. But I found that it is not always the case. I have a website and it has basically no inbound links, PR3 and it still gets around 70-80 searches in google daily on main niche keywords.

    So it all depends.
