WP dashboard page error

hey, me again, almost forgot to talk about
this strange error too...

my other blogs work fine, but not my main one

the dashboard shows crazy...

Did you encounter this error too?

Any ideas how to fix it?

Looks like your site is not completely loading. May be your browser.

did you have the same problem too?

it's strange that my other blogs work fine, but not this one.

That snapshot is in Mozilla, in IExplorer it doesn't load at all.

It could be a database problem [host] or browser?

When you upgraded to v2.8.6 did you encounter any problems?

It seems as though this problem - and your other regarding editing posts - may be resolved by re-installing.

I am sure you will have all the necessary backups before doing this

I can't recall, but moved to a PS on my host, and they merged all my databases into two. And last week before this problem occurred the blog went down, then after emailing DREAMHOST, they told me my blog was misconfigured and they fixed it, although they left me with this crazy dashboard error...

I would suggest you reinstall the whole thing. If you don't already have a back-up of the database - take one (although an earlier one would be preferable, just in case it is a d/b problem) along with a screenshot or two of the site if you altered the theme.

Then uninstall Wordpress. Reinstall WP, theme and plug-ins and import d/b.

Sometimes I find you need to use ftp software before reinstalling WP to make sure everything has really been wiped of the server.

The blog theme was custom created - if I re-install, would I need to re-do the changes ? There are also some custom plugin tweaks I did as I recall.

Did you ever re-install a blog, what aspects you need to be aware of and how long does it take?
