Anyone Hiring People Offline?

Hey guys,

As the tittle' say's, I've been thinking to become a full-time Internet Marketer, with a office and employee's. A Content Creator, Web Designer, a person who can handle repetitive tasks.

Anyone have any thought's or have tried hiring people offline? Maybe training them to do stuff. I am sure this can very very profitable. What do you guy's think?

Pay them hourly, hire as independent subcontractors, and check the first 100 things they do. Hiring employees can either make your life much easier or much harder, it depends completely on who you hire and how well you train them. Personally, I'd do it as long as you have a plan for growth.

Word of advise: Teach them to do what's necessary, but not enough to let them start their own business.

      Remember, you're the boss.

    Roshan,

You will be better off financially outsourcing to VAs, I have some projects that are nearly 100% outsourced now, I just manage and take the money!

You can find some reliable outsourcers you can hire per hour, much cheaper than hiring someone offline!

The reason I want to hire them offline and let them work in my office on monthly basis(Charge's are only $300-400 monthly, as its a pretty standard rate here in India that a average job person earn's)

I could see and teach and make them work in front of me, one-on-one, so even if they need any help, I am there to quickly fix it, would result in faster growth of my company!

    What do you think?

I have a "Team," referring to them as my employee's sounds kind of weird. One helps me with my eBay business, sorting, picking, managing my small warehouse, getting things ready to be shipped out. My Lister, takes pictures, writes detailed descriptions, answers questions, etc. My Assistant, helps keep me on track and manages things between my business and personal life. Reminds me to do things I would have otherwise forgot about, helps me find resources online, throws out suggestions, also handles my accounting and book keeping. My Assistant usually handles the communication between my warehouse worker and myself too. I'm training my brother to step in my place when I'm away.

For my real estate (rental properties), I have a different assistant. Manages my tenants and their needs, hires workers to upkeep my properties (hiring someone to plow snow from the driveways, landscaping, finds handymen, etc) and handles my legal issues.

Never let someone work from home unless they prove they can be just as efficient from home. I hired someone a couple days ago to review articles, make grammar corrections, ensure keywords are there, etc (as I'm buying outsourced articles which are sometimes not perfect) and they have made more excuses than they have submitted finalized articles. This morning I hired a friend of a friend, I told him to come in and explained what to do in about an hour, he set down on one of my extra computers and had everything done in about 6 hours.

Having the extra help, helps me keep my Full Time job and actually makes me more money. One day the full time job will be holding me back from making way more income, but not right now.

In most places it would be silly to use an offline team to outsource IM activities to opposed to freelancers (part time or full time ones), due to costs of rent etc. However in India, it makes sense due to the cost of everything.

I've started out with something similar, hired and fired the first employee already... rented an office space for a year, know a bit about setting up. Hit me up if you need help. Found a cheaper solution so will be looking at that.

I'm not sure how things are for hiring where you are but you should find people for less than 15,000/month (INR).
