Web design pricing

I'm not sure where to post this but I think here is a good place to get some answers

I've always made my own websites from templates. This time though, I think I could benefit from getting someone help me design one. What I'm looking for is very basic, nothing fancy. Just a sharp looking main page with a navbar, and the rest of the pages will be worked off of the main page.

How much do rates run for getting something like this set up if graphics are supplied? Not looking to spend too much.

        I checked the for hire forum, seems they want to charge me $20 for finding someone though =/. I'll have to look around at some other place for web design stuff I guess.

        I really only needed a page or two built, nothing fancy at all.
