I'm posting is question in a few IM forums. I am very interested in everyones opinion on this.

I have two aged sites:

amsri.co.uk - A personal family website - nearly 7 years old - PR1 - Alexa 4+million. - I don't get many visitors!
evans-amsri.blogspot.com - A personal family blog - 5 years old - PR0 - Alexa 7. (Hmmm? Not sure I trust Alexa ratings) I guess most of my visitors have Alexa toolbar???

Could I utilise these sites for IM purposes?
If it is worthwhile using these sites, what would be the best course of action?
What do you think?

Many thanks,
Paul

Againg makes very little difference, so unless you're in a majorly competitive niche where those domains have important keyword elements - ignore it and get a more relevant new domain.

I agree- domain age is far more important when competing for big money phrases.

    Not needed for longtails.
