Default Paypal affiliate link thing? Referral IDs

I don't know what you call it

Clickbank definitely has the referral ID thing covered. Easy to set up and to let others promote your product since the ID is kept in your browser. However I'll be using Paypal as my main merchant for subscriptions to a pay site. as far as I can tell they've got 'something' like that but I'm not sure if it works as easily as Clickbank does.

I've got a closed vbulletin forum and I've integrated Paypal as the way to pay for membership... so I'm not sure how one would go about having an affiliate program since it's on a forum, and plus, it's Paypal to begin with.

What would you do in my situation? I didn't want to do this but an idea I have is to let customers that find your site by themselves to pay by Paypal on the forum, and to create a completely separate page for affiliates through Clickbank which would be both Paypal and Clickbank for the same membership.

I believe I'll have to process orders manually since Clickbank doesn't integrate with vbulletin yet though.
