How much to charge?

HELP! I am about to advertise ad space on my new website, its a webstore. I want to start with 2 prices. The first price for those who sign up before its launched and a 2nd price for after its launched. I really don't know where to start price wise. What is the going rate?

      No, its not the one in my signature. Its a store with personalized merchandise....I know the price is dependent on the issues you mention but I want to offer a special price before I launch. It will be a risk for those who advertise without any info but that's the idea. Cheap price before, and if it does well which of course I think it will, then the price of the ad will go up.     What site would it be? the one in your sig?

    You have to think about if you want to charge a monthly fee or different certain lengths

    I charge on a few site's of my own, around £10 per month and have no problems finding advertisers for those ad spaces.
    if you want to charge alot more, say £100 per month be ready for a long wait for these sort of advertisers.

    it depends on your estimated traffic stat's as you say it's going to be launched pretty soon, most advertisers want to see some sort of traffic proof before finding ad space.
