Betta Fish Niche... You Think It's Worth It?

INTERNET MARKETING

I've been itching to get out of my current niche for a while, penis enlargement is a bit competitive for someone going to high school and well, being 17.

I have a pet betta fish and on a whim discovered they have a couple of betta fish guides with a gravity of around 10 on clickbank. With just one article direct linking i've made several sales over the last couple months while I worked on other campaigns.

Most of the search terms only have 700-900 searches per month but of the 9 good keywords I could find, 7 of them look EXTREMELY easy to rank #1 for.

Do you think it's worth putting up a review site for this niche?

I mean the combined search terms give me around 250-300 searches per day to work with (although I dunno how desperate of buyers they would be) and I could probably put my signature on some forums as well, there's lots of them out there.

What do you guys think? I feel like I really haven't given penis enlargement that big of a try and I've got lots of articles hovering right at the top of page two but... I might be a little out of my league.

I think it's a great idea.

More importantly, if you think it is worth going for.. then go for it.

Get some content out there quickly and test the water (no pun intended )

I know of one guy doing it and he is doing very well. He's one hell of a smart marketer.

Yes that's one of the products I was thinking of. I always feel (because of where my articles rank) that I'm "right on the edge" of breaking into this niche... and it's tempting because just one sale per day would be $1,100 a month in PE.. I was doing for a while so I got a taste of it and once my articles fell off... Well, it's been a bit depressing lol. I'm thinking I may just finish up PE these last couple days of November and then work on something new for the time coming up.

Any traffic getting suggestions for the betta niche since organic search terms aren't exactly exploding?

Used to have a product site in the betta fish niche on ClickBank and it was doing about $150 per week or so but it was about a year ago.

I don't know about the marketing side of this, but from the point of view of a fish fancier, PLEASE put up some good information about bettas. They tend to live miserable lives because the pet stores sell them in those little cups and people think they like to live in so little water. They can live long and happy lives if they are put in just 2 gallon tanks with a cheap little filter!! It's not hard to make them happy, but 3 cup betta bowls just won't cut it. IMHO

You can make sales in any niche if you have a good product to sell. It doesn't have to be one of the so-called "desperate buyer" health niches at all. And the bonus is much less competition. I'm slowly moving away from the high-competition niches and I have more sales. I don't know, maybe I'm doing something wrong since I'm not following the general consensus though.

The betta fish niche is nothing new really. Adam short and his niche profit classroom made sure that every would-be Internet Marketer would have considered tackling the Betta fish niche at one stage or the other
