I could sort out tomorrow evening if no one else does it first. I am about to go on a "surprise" trip for me - bought by my daughter otherwise I would do it now.

PM me if you still have a problem this time on sunday

Ditto on removing the affiliate links from your sig... Not allowed here.

Took a quick look at the source code for the page you linked. What a FUBAR.

There are multiple <head> tags and it looks like a complete web page got copied into the <head> section of the page.

Does the post show up in the control panel for the blog? If so, your best bet may be to delete it and try again.

You could also switch the theme to the default temporarily to see if the problem is in the theme coding. It could also be a plugin that isn't playing nice. Disable them one at a time to see if that cures the problem.

Since you have a link at the bottom of the page to an SEO service, you might want to ask them why your robots meta tag is set to "noindex,nofollow"...

This looks like wordpress. Reinstall your theme, and it should go away. If that doesnt work, let me know. Its an easy fix.

What exactly did you post and can you just turn that post inactive or better yet delete it?

It seems 2.8.6 might have some issues - I have seen several posts mentioning 2.8.6 and problems.

Perhaps your template or a plugin is having glitches with something in the post?

Try to undo it or change templates in the admin and see if anything changes. Otherwise you will need to create a new user and give them admin rights to work in your wordpress admin.

The alternative is ftp or better ssh access, but I am going to guess that the one who helps might not be able to get such access.

      things to try:
      1) remvoe offending post.
      2) change template - see if the template is doing it? switch back?
      3) fix the template
      4) check plugins that may have conflict - can disable one at a time (or all) until you find an offending plugin.

Should be easy 5-minute fix for anyone used to WP.

If you haven't fixed it, I'd be happy to help.

      Kevin
